Information for SI Leader
How to set up SI session hours and location for SI Leaders:
Before embarking on doing your hours for this semester please do the following first:
1. Did you work last semester for TIP?
a. If yes…please go to Starfish, click on Appointments at the top bar, then click on Agenda
b. Your old schedule from last semester will show up under “My Office Hours”
c. Click on the “chevron” icon next to your hours and a drop down menu will show – delete these hours
2. Then proceed to do the directions below….
Sign in Bb
Click on "Starfish" tab
Click on "Home"
Click on "Add Group Session"
For Title, remove "Group Session" and type in your course (i.e. "BUS 101 SI Session")
For When, change it "weekly" (Do NOT change 1 to 2 for "Repeats every: 1 week. Leave 1 there)
Check days of week you do SI work
Enter start time and end time for What Time?
For Where? If you have no location, put "TBA"
For Reason, choose "SI Leader"
For How many students? Put 15
Check both boxes (Allow student to see other students.. Restrict...)
Click on START/END DATE, choose "End of Term" and click on the current semester
