Information Technology

The Information Technology (IT) Program  provides a high quality educational experience in IT to undergraduate students in a bilingual environment. The program is career-oriented and flexible which enables students to choose their own path to success. The IT curriculum prepares students to become future IT professionals,  to enter other careers with knowledge and hands-on expertise in current and emerging technologies, or to pursue research or graduate studies in IT related fields.

Students majoring in IT will develop the technical skills and organizational insights required to analyze, design, implement, and administer information systems. IT courses require extensive hands-on projects, teamwork, and the use of high-end computer technology. Classroom experiences give students the fundamentals of information technology and then let them be creative with the concentration of their choice.

Students can select from:

  • network/database/web
  • medical informatics
Regardless of students focus, they will acquire strong technical and communication skills and experience potential careers during their internships.
