Welcome to Gallaudet!
Every year, hundreds of prospective students, parents, professionals, school groups, American Sign Language classes and others visit Gallaudet University.
As the world's only university designed for deaf and hard of hearing students, Gallaudet attracts students and visitors from throughout the United States and around the world.
Visiting our beautiful campus, also known as Kendall Green, is the best way to learn about our exceptional academic programs and to see how we blend history and innovation.
Tours begin at the Visitors Center, located in the lobby of the Edward Miner Gallaudet Memorial Building (EMG) from Monday through Friday, twice a day. Each tour last approximately an hour. Tours are conducted in American Sign Language (ASL), and voice interpreters are provided for visitors who do not sign. Interpreted tours must be requested at least three days in advance. Your Student Ambassador will provide you with general information about Gallaudet, our academic programs, residential and commuter life and our extensive curricular activities.
To sign up for a tour, please complete the online Campus Tour Sign Up Form. You will receive an automatic email confirmation that your request has been confirmed.
Visitors may opt to walk around campus on their own. A self-guided campus tour pamphlet will be available in April at the Visitors Center.
