Peikoff Alumni House
Peikoff Alumni House "Ole Jim" is the present home of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association Headquarters and the Office of Alumni Relations of Gallaudet University. It was known as "Ole Jim" boasted the D.C. area's first indoor swimming pool when its gymnasium built in 1881. This was also thought to be the oldest indoor pool in the nation.
The Football Huddle
The football huddle originated at Gallaudet in the 1890s when Gallaudet's football team found that opposing team members, some of whom knew sign language, were intercepting their signed messages.
