Derek Vore
Short Biography

Mr. Derek Vore comes from Cincinnati, Ohio where he did his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating with a degree in education with a specialization in signed language interpreting, he began working at a local deaf school as a site interpreter and substitute teacher. In addition, he worked in the University of Cincinnati's Deaf Studies department as an adjunct instructor as well as a freelance sign language interpreter in the Cincinnati area. In the fall of 2013, he moved to Washington, DC where he began his graduate work in linguistics at Gallaudet University. He joined the ELI team in the Spring 2014 semester.
