Tanya Sturgis
Short Biography

Ms. Tanya Sturgis graduated from Gallaudet University with a bachelor's degree in English literature. As an undergraduate student, she focused primarily on writing-intensive courses and jobs, such as working for the student newspaper as a copy editor and the University's Office of Communications and Public Relations as an intern. In the Fall 2013 semester, she worked for the Department of English teaching pre-college English.  The Spring 2014 semester is her first semester teaching at the ELI program.  In the Fall 2014 semester, she will begin her graduate studies at the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia.
