The 2009 H1N1 Virus (swine flu) outbreak is being closely monitored at Gallaudet University. The health and safety of the Gallaudet community is the University's utmost concern and it is continuously monitoring the situation.

There have been reports of people with flu-like symptoms on campus. Anyone who has an underlying chronic health condition (including asthma, heart disease, and diabetes) and is experiencing fever, body aches, or other symptoms associated with the flu, should seek medical attention.
