In Washington, D.C. we have access to a variety of different ways to get around the city. The University is close to three major airports and Amtrak's Union Station is only one mile away. D.C.'s Metro Rail system-considered one of the safest and most user-friendly systems in the country-recently opened a new station on the red line about five blocks from the campus.
The University operates a free shuttle between the campus and the two closest metro stations for students, faculty, staff and visitors with a Visitors Pass. Passes may be obtained from the Transportation Department.
