The role of Gallaudet's Office of Public Relations is to communicate the University's strategic messages to its key constituencies, which include prospective students and their parents, alumni, donors, members of Congress, the Washington, D.C. business community, the media, and deaf and hard of hearing people throughout the nation. This goal is realized due to the efforts of the people working in the areas that comprise PR: Media Relations, Publications, Visitors Center, and World Wide Web management.
