MSCHE Accreditation

Gallaudet University is and continues to be accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). On November 15, 2007, Gallaudet University was notified that our accreditation probation status has been lifted.

This milestone was achieved by "Team Gallaudet"--faculty, teachers, staff, students, alumni, and the Board of Trustees--coming together in a united effort to bring about real and lasting change. This is a big step forward, and, in the days, weeks, and months ahead, the Gallaudet community will continue to work hard to build upon this success.

We must now continue our transformation efforts to reaffirm the University's accreditation by November 2008.
