Schedule a Guided Tour
Tours leave from the lobby of the Edward Miner Gallaudet Memorial Building (EMG) at 10 a.m. & 2 p.m., Monday - Friday and last about one hour. You must have a confirmed appointment to join a tour. If you don't have an appointment you are welcome to join a tour if there is space available or take one of our self-guided tours.
Tours are given by student guides and include our:
- state-of-the-art academic facilities
- historic buildings
- beautiful grounds designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Olmsted
- and the heart of the campus, the Student Union
Be comfortable
You'll be walking outside so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if it looks like rain.
What if you don't sign?
Tours are conducted in American Sign Language, interpreters are provided for visitors who do not sign. Interpreted tours must be requested at least two weeks in advance.
