Dean’s Merit-Based Scholarship Award

1. Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet and who do not meet the criteria for other merit based scholarships, but who show promise for academic and professional success and have demonstrated academic and related achievements

2. Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet and do not apply for or accept scholarships before all other merit awards are distributed, and who show promise for academic and professional success and who have demonstrated academic and related achievements

1. One half (1/2) of the cost of tuition per year for a total of 4 years

2. Students pay fees themselves

3. GPA and related requirements must be met each semester to continue award

1. Minimum cumulative high school GPA: 2.5 (on 4.0 scale)

2. ACT scores of 19-21 in both Reading and English
