Get off the bus and walk two short blocks north (to your left, uphill) on 8th Street. 8th Street dead ends at Florida Avenue, cross Florida to enter the main entrance to the University.

Trains
- AMTRAK: Take AMTRAK to Union Station at 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE. Union Station is approximately one mile southwest of the University. To get to the campus either hire a taxi or take the metrobus.
- Metro Rail: The New York Ave-Florida Ave-Gallaudet University station is 5 blocks from the campus. Union Station is approximately one mile southwest of the University. To get to the campus either hire a taxi or take the metrobus. The University provides a free shuttle between the campus and these two stations for students, faculty and staff. Other visitors must have a shuttle pass before riding.
