Dr. Caroline Solomon, professor of Biology, was featured in a National Public Radio (NPR) story in its "50 Great Teachers" series. The story, entitled "Biology Professor's Calling: Teach Deaf Students They Can Do Anything," was done by NPR Education reporter Claudio Sanchez and chronicles Dr. Solomon in the classroom, out on the Anacostia River during her research projects, and touches on her teaching style and how she inspires her students.
