Get vaccinated or submit your waiver!

Everyone must be vaccinated or must have an approved waiver by August 16 — two weeks before the fall semester begins.
This will help bring us together, and add to the academic, linguistic, cultural and social vibrancy of our campus.
To this end, we are offering incentives in the form of weekly drawings for prizes! Here are the contest rules.

How to Participate

All Gallaudet University faculty, staff, new and returning students must submit their COVID-19 vaccination record by emailing photos of both sides of their vaccine card to If you have a vaccine waiver, that is also counted as an entry. Additional entries into the prize drawings include:

  • Taking and posting a photo or video of yourself on the Gallaudet University campus, and tagging us @GallaudetU and #BetterTogetherAtGallaudet.
  • Re-posting/sharing our social media posts on Facebook and tagging @GallaudetU and #BetterTogetherAtGallaudet
