Student Transportation / Shuttle Approach

  1. While on buses, everyone – students, employees, and drivers must wear masks.
  2. Capacity will be added to the extent possible to allow for physical distancing while maintaining service levels.
  3. Additional interventions – regular cleaning, introducing fresh air, installing hand sanitizer stations, and optimizing routes to reduce time on bus – will provide additional layers of protection.
  • Windows will be open to introduce fresh air.
  • Masks must be worn at all times while on the bus.
  • Campus access credentials (e.g. daily health assessment) checked before boarding.
  • Sanitize hands when boarding/disembarking.
  • Bus capacity will be reduced – and frequencies increased – to allow for social distancing.
  • Maintain social distance at bus stops.
