Make lasting memories and grow in ways you never thought possible.
As we navigate this global pandemic, we’re dedicated to keeping our students, families, and employees connected and informed on a regular basis.
Our community thrives on connection, which is why we’ve established three ways you can get the most updated information. Our goal to ensure learning, living, and working can all continue in the safest manner possible.
Our three-phase approach to reopening has been developed by our president and a public health and safety task force. We’ve taken recommendations by governing authorities seriously and are keeping our plans fluid as the state of the pandemic is subject to change. Should the need arise, we can move between phases as pandemic conditions dictate.
Phase one starts in summer 2020 and will continue until the CDC and governing authorities advise that face-to-face learning, activities, and programs can begin.
During this phase teaching, learning, and work will all be conducted remotely.
Phase two will commence with a hybrid approach to learning, teaching, and working. We plan for most programs, courses, and activities to continue remotely. However, when appropriate, we will begin to bring back in-person activities.
As guidelines change continuously, our public health and safety task force will advise on the proper use of PPE and physical restructuring to ensure the social distancing and utmost safety for those in the Gallaudet and Clerc Center communities.
Once in-person activities are given the all-clear to resume, Gallaudet will resume face-to-face activities, while still maintaining all guidelines advised by governing officials.
