Good academic planning is critical to student success. The academic planning meeting (APM) provides the opportunity for an advisor and a student to discuss the student's educational plan as well as career and personal goals.
Each semester academic advisors review students' current academic performance, discuss any difficulties, make suggestions for improvement, assist with developing a four-year plan, and advise as to what kind of courses should be selected for the following semester.
