The purpose of the new student interview is for a student and an advisor to become acquainted. Topics include, but are not limited to family background, education experience(s), personal qualities, hobbies, aspirations or goals, career goals, and work history. This meeting is also used to help your advisor become familiar with your wants/needs to help you adjust to college life and/or academics. If needed, your advisor will make referrals for additional support if needed.
