The Education of the Deaf Act (EDA) requires Gallaudet University to submit an annual report to the United States Department of Education every January, covering the accomplishments of the previous fiscal year. The EDA specifies the data and information on our programs and students that must be reported. The report is also used to share information with other groups, such as donors and foundations, but its primary purpose is to meet the EDA reporting requirements.
