Gallaudet Dance Company

The Gallaudet Dance Company is a team composed of undergraduate and graduate students. The team has performed in several locations around the world and in high-profile locations such as the White House.

Campus Activities

Art and Media students interested in gaining experience in marketing and advertising can help Campus Activities reach the GU community through carefully designed flyers and pamphlets.

Lab Assistantships

There is no better way to solidify what you have learned than through sharing your knowledge with other students. Through lab assistantships, you will be able to earn money while you improve your skills and knowledge.

Washburn Arts Center

The Washburn Arts Center includes two fully equipped graphic design labs, two drawing/painting studios, a design studio, a large ceramics studio, a complete photography studio, film/digital media production equipment, electronically-enhanced classrooms, and a large gallery for visiting and student art exhibitions.

Buff and Blue

The Buff and Blue is a student-run newspaper that operates throughout the academic year. Students may contribute through writing, reporting, editing, and design.

Bison TV

As a student organization, Bison TV provides ample opportunities to students who are interested in media and reporting. Art students can gain experience in production, writing, editing, photography, videography, and much more.

Tower Clock

Each year, students in the Tower Clock organization gather information, construct, edit, produce, and disseminate the Gallaudet yearbook. Students interested in graphic design, photography, editing, and writing can find ample opportunities to contribute and gain experience.

Gallaudet Today

University Communications puts together the Gallaudet Today magazine twice a year, in the Fall and the Spring, with the assistance of Gallaudet students. Art students have the perfect opportunity to learn about print production and gain invaluable experience in the field.
