The Gallaudet Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute (GIEI) will host BisonTank, an innovation pitch competition for our Gallaudet students to launch their creative ideas or projects that could turn into a business or have an impact on the community. Sponsored by the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, this event explores the journeys of various transgender and non-binary individuals as they share their experiences with gender identity.  Many people who are transgender or non-binary struggle with their identities for a number of years before finally understanding who they are. Additional complexities that come with being deaf or hard of hearing will also be addressed.
