The office of CBO is in the process of developing the BETA Center. This 509(a)(3) nonprofit organization aims to provide reliable and valid language measurements for ASL and English bilingual individuals. These testing systems are currently housed in the BETA Center.
CDO is a summative assessment which identifies the ASL discourse and language, bilingual teaching approaches, and visual interactions between the faculty and students.
TLS uses formative assessment that consists of feedback intended to foster development and improvement within an ongoing activity (teaching).
ASLPI is a holistic language evaluation used to determine one’s proficiency in ASL.
