At Gallaudet, I was able to become more involved in class discussions and show my leadership skills.

My internship as an educational advocate at the National Association of the Deaf allowed me to do research, think about what I wanted to do career wise, gain experience in real settings and be part of something important. At Gallaudet, I was able to become more involved in class discussions and show my leadership skills. I discovered potential in myself that I didn’t know I had.
