Long-time baseball coach Curtis Pride is one of six local sports figures who will be inducted into the Montgomery County (Maryland) Sports Hall of Fame (MCSHF) on Sunday. October 18. Pride, a Silver Spring native, played Major League Baseball for 11 years and has coached Gallaudet’s baseball team since the 2009 season. For the complete list of inductees, see the graphic above.

“These men and women have brought recognition and honor to our community in their respective fields,” says Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame Board Chair Trish Heffelfinger. “It is indeed a stellar group. And in keeping with the COVID19 pandemic, the induction ceremony will be virtual, and we will hear from all of our inductees.”

Congratulations, Coach Pride!
