Ms. Darian Burwell Gambrell attended Kendall Demonstration Elementary School and Gallaudet University. She is known at Gallaudet for her student-centered management; she oversaw the Office of Student Success and had a leadership role on the JumpStart and Peer Mentoring program. She served as a special assistant for diversity relations during Dr. Robert Davila’s presidency and has since cultivated a reputation as an engaging facilitator on diversity and inclusion dialogues.
Since 2017 Ms. Gambrell has been a manager at the Raleigh regional center of the North Carolina Division of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, which has seven regional centers across the state.
