Not everyone moves through formal education in the same way. Our Continuing Education programs gives you the flexibility you need.

The Center for Continuing Education (CCE) extends the Gallaudet experience to the world. Our programs are designed for people already working with deaf and hard of hearing individuals and are committed lifelong learners in their field.

We are here to help you earn credits and certifications, and progress toward your goal. You don’t even have to be enrolled at Gallaudet to take advantage of these extraordinary continuing education resources.

Applicants under age 18 must provide proof of graduation or a GED certificate.
Adults with a high school diploma or its equivalent may enroll, including visiting students from other colleges

Classes are in a bilingual environment for deaf and hearing attendees pursuing continuing education.

Certificate Programs serve the current and pressing needs of professionals and practitioners. They include a set of related courses leading to a certificate that demonstrates successful completion of the curriculum.

Professional Studies and Training (PST) courses

Gallaudet University offers a wide selection of online continuing education courses and programs for undergraduate, graduate, or professional studies credit. These “anytime, anywhere” learning opportunities allow students to engage at a distance–learning whenever and wherever they choose.

Our Professional Studies and Training (PST) courses (for non-degree-seeking students), PSG, and ASL courses are RID-CEU eligible, at a rate of 1.5 CEUs per credit.
