The proposal for course revision is to separate the courses by paradigm (i.e., qualitative and quantitative research) rather than by sequential design and analysis in order to help students master each paradigm from conception to execution. This proposal recommends that Qualitative Social Work Research (SWK 755) be taught in the fall and Quantitative Social Work Research (SWK 756) be taught in the spring.
