Services:

• Full-time Gallaudet students receive six free sessions of psychotherapy per academic year. The academic year begins at the start of the fall semester in August. After six sessions, clients are charged $20.00 per session.
• In order to avoid dual relationships, former or current clients of Counseling and Psychological Services cannot participate in CAPS graduate training programs. Also, former or current clients cannot work for CAPS in any capacity.
• All information about clients is kept confidential among Counseling and Psychological Services professional staff in accordance with legal and professional ethical requirements. Except when legally required, no information can be released to any person outside CAPS without signed permission. There are exceptions to the privilege of confidentiality and these will be discussed at intake.
