Swimming and diving team meeting

The Gallaudet University men's and women's swimming and diving program will have a "Kickoff Meeting" for anyone interested in joining the team for the 2015-16 season. All returning swimmers and divers are required to attend as well. The meeting will be held in the Field House on Tuesday, September 1, from 5-7 p.m. in the G-41 team meeting room.

It's Berry Blossom time!

A perfect way to begin the fall semester- the 2nd annual Berry Blossom Festival will take place from 1-3 p.m. on the Gallaudet Mall. This event will follow President Hurwitz's Welcome Back Address to the community.

Theatre and Dance Program: auditions for Fall 2015's “Julius Caesar”

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at the Elstad Annex for the Fall 2015 Theatre and Dance milestone production of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar," which is being staged in ASL by a deaf cast at the collegiate and professional levels for the first time ever.

The Gallaudet University softball program will hold a team meeting on Wednesday, September 2, at 7 p.m. in the Field House G-41 team meeting room. The meeting is required for all returners from last year's team and new students interested in participating in the 2016 season.

Let There Be Light: De^ARTivism closing reception

An exhibition of works by deaf and deaf-blind artists, which focuses on their life experiences, is at the Pepco Edison Gallery at 702 Eighth Street NW, Washington D.C. A closing reception, sponsored by the Gallaudet ASL and Deaf Studies department, will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 5-8 p.m.
