1. Demonstrate knowledge of the multiplicity of deaf people's lives within the United States and internationally.
  2. Engage in critical inquiry into changing ideological construction of deaf people, sign language, and normalcy from cultural, geographical, sociological and human rights perspectives.
  3. Develop research skills to produce and to present effective written and signed research projects using various media in academic discourse related to the interdisciplinary field of Deaf Studies, incorporating principles of academic integrity.
