On behalf of the faculty, staff, and continuing graduate students of the Department of Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences at Gallaudet University, I am very pleased to welcome you to our program. Gallaudet's Department of Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences houses a Master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology and a Doctoral Audiology (Au.D.) program that are ranked among the best in the country. Additionally, the department has a Ph.D. program in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences, a non-clinical master’s degree, and offers a number of undergraduate and graduate service courses to other students at the University.
You will find Gallaudet University to be a unique setting in which you will have an opportunity to not only be provided with the foundations for becoming an excellent clinician, but also be immersed in Deaf culture on a daily basis. The knowledge you will gain from the diverse experiences that you will enjoy during your time here will enable you to develop greater insights when working with all of your future clients, whether they are children and their families, or adults.
