National Symposium on Interpreting via Video: The State of the Practice and Implications
May 23 -25, 2010 Gallaudet Regional Interpreter Education Center The National Symposium on Video Interpreting explored the rapidly changing world of interpreters providing their work across video connections. The symposium provided a forum for sharing current research on the state of the practice and highlights the unique aspects of working via video. Ultimately, the goal of the Symposium was to provide information that will better prepare interpreters for working over current and emerging video technologies.
