Dr. Caroline Kobek Pezzarossi, G-’07 & PhD-’08, Professor in the Department of Psychology, has been appointed Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Certification within the Office for Student Success and Academic Quality (SSAQ), effective January 1, 2021. Dr. Kobek Pezzarossi brings to her new role a wealth of knowledge in clinical, research, teaching, and mentoring. Her professional and educational background includes rehabilitation counseling, psychotherapy, and assessment.
Dr. Kobek Pezzarossi served as Faculty Fellow for Faculty Development from 2015 to 2018, and as Vice Chair of the Faculty Senate from 2016 to 2018. She contributed to the creation of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC), whose charge is to provide leadership and assistance in developing and overseeing a program of evaluation and feedback to enhance institutional effectiveness, and to serve as the primary faculty body responsible for matters of institutional effectiveness.
In her new role, Dr. Kobek Pezzarossi will be responsible for directing institutional accreditation efforts necessary to meet the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) standards, and will serve as the MSCHE Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO). Read more here.
