Robert M. Ryan III

Hailing from Arizona, Robert M. Ryan III is a graduate student in Deaf Studies. He joined the Drs. John S. & Betty J. Schuchman Deaf Documentary Center and assisted with research into the American Eugenics movement of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His research interests include topics of disability, culture, and social advocacy. Prior to joining the Center, Ryan was a teacher at Phoenix Day School for the Deaf in Phoenix, Arizona.
