Kala Granger is from Maine. They graduated with a B.A. in Theater Arts: Production/Performance in 2016. Since then, Kala has worked in administrative and artistic roles with several theater companies in the Washington area. They also work as a barista and caterer.
In 2019, Kala returned to work at Multicultural Student Development and Mentoring (MSDM), where they were a student paraprofessional many years ago. Kala's title is Administrative Secretary for MSDM. They currently supervise a team of student paraprofessionals and assist with event planning and marketing. Kala loves their work in DEDI, learning new things every day, and giving back to the Gallaudet community.
