Conversations take place in public settings, like schools, clubs, churches, libraries, or residential homes. You and your group decide where to host your event. When there is a large group of attendees, break into groups of ten people with one facilitator for each group. To have meaningful conversations, arrange seating in a circle where everyone can see each other. This helps build a feeling of friendship and trust among the people in the group.

  • Coordinate event logistics with Gallaudet (date and time, location, etc).
  • Work with Gallaudet to create topics to discuss.
  • Consider who can facilitate the group(s).
  • Develop an agenda for your event.
  • Set ground rules.
