Results! Mentoring is a program of mentoring activities housed within Gallaudet Interpreting Service which supports development of mentoring skills and which fosters development of interpreting expertise. The purpose of the Results! Mentoring program is to foster the skill development of interpreters through individualized support, guided experience, and skill development activities in order to meet demands for high quality services on the Gallaudet campus and nationwide.
One-on-one mentoring opportunities are available to GIS staff members and select Masters of Interpretation students in the Department of Interpretation and Translation.
The GIS Professional Development Committee hosts periodic trainings given by GIS staff. Please contact the mentoring team at gis.mentoring@gallaudet.edu for future training dates and registration information.
The Results! Visiting Interpreter program (RVI) will not available in the 2017/18 academic year. Please check back next year for updated information on our mentoring programs and services.
