Microsoft for Personal Use

Gallaudet University is proud to announce the updated Microsoft education advantage program to students, faculty and staff.  This program provides access to free and discounted Microsoft 365 products products for undergraduate, graduate and K-12 students at Gallaudet University and Clerc Center that purchased enterprise-level licenses.  Faculty and staff are also entitled to use these programs for work-at-home use. Availability of Microsoft products for installing on personally-owned computers, including iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices

To access Office 365, sign-in with your Gallaudet email address at: 

NOTE:  The downloadable Office 365 software is for use on personally-owned computers.  DO NOT install this software on Gallaudet-managed computers.

NOTE:  Office 365 doesn't have Outlook Online (email and calendar) functionality at this time.  Google Apps is still the primary tool for communication. 

Eligibility requirements for Microsoft 365 products:

  • Registered Undergraduate Students
  • Registered Graduate Students
  • Regular Status University Faculty and Staff
  • Regular Status Clerc Center Teachers and Staff
  • Clerc Center K-12 Students
  • Emeritus Faculty Members

Not eligible to use Microsoft 365 products:

  • Formerly or Retired Faculty and Staff
  • Visiting Faculty, Scholars and Students
  • Students attending non-credit courses and workshops
  • PST Students  (PST is not considered as UG and/or Grad programs)
  • Temporary part-time students, faculty and staff
  • Contract Staff
  • Alumni
  • Spouses or domestic partners of Faculty and Staff
  • Conference Attendees
  • Executive Education Attendees
