Even with the best interpreters, a community college cannot offer the direct access to faculty, staff and campus opportunities that students experience in our bilingual environment. Everything at Gallaudet is designed to ensure your students will graduate with a fully accredited four-year college degree and obtain employment.
Academic Advising staff help each student develop an academic plan to stay on track to graduation. To provide a seamless process from graduation to employment, academic advisors work with Career Center staff to help students set career goals and pursue the coursework and internships to achieve them.
More than 80 percent of full-time Gallaudet students participate in at least one internship before graduation. Our bachelor's degree programs have an extensive network of established sites and work with the Career Center to develop even more opportunities.
