Flexible work arrangements provide employees with a flexibility with their work schedule while allowing Gallaudet University to maintain a progressive and productive work environment.

The link to the Administration and Operations Policy 4.05 - Hours of Work/Flexible Work Arrangements - can be found HERE. The policy will provide guidance, including the procedures on how to establish a flexible work arrangement.

An FAQ is available for employees and supervisors who are seeking direct answers. If you still have questions after reading the FAQ, contact Human Resources Services.

In order for an employee to request a flexible work arrangement, the request form must be completed and sent directly to their supervisor. The request form can be found HERE.

If the request for flexible work arrangement is approved, an agreement form must be completed and signed by the employee and their supervisor. The agreement form can be found HERE. The agreement will then be placed in the employee's file.

Supervisors are required to complete a brief online training in order for any flexible work arrangement to be fully processed. The online training can be found HERE.
