Overview

Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES) is a day school serving deaf and hard of hearing students from birth through grade eight. Tuition is free and students come from the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. For more information, please visit Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES).

We are fully accredited by two organizations:

  • Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
  • Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf

We are the demonstration elementary school of the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center.
