First-year students at Gallaudet live in Benson Hall, where it’s easy to make friends and connect with peer mentors and other support.
After that, you could select an innovative residence hall built entirely using DeafSpace architectural design elements.
DeafSpace elements foster community and visual interaction. Gallaudet students were instrumental in deciding how our new, $16 million Living and Learning Residence Hall should be designed. All public spaces in our other residence halls were also recently renovated based on this input.
Students with disabilities in need of housing accommodations may contact the Office of Students with Disabilities to get more information.
