The nation’s largest leadership society was founded in 2001 to build a community of like-minded, success-oriented leaders who come together to help one another succeed.
The Society offers interactive broadcasts with the nation’s best speakers, training in goal setting, and team meetings in which students set and hold each other accountable for achieving goals. Our students benefit from the peer support and resources that NSLS offers.
Produce a film short, a news clip or a TV series for Bison TV, that will broadcast through Gallaudet’s own television channel and online channels. BisonTV drives emerging filmmakers, editors, and screenwriters to hone their craft while providing content the whole campus can enjoy.

An LGBTQ & Ally student club that empowers its members, unites LGBTQ students and allies on campus in a safe welcoming space, and hosts social events, organization meetings, and field trips.
Immersed in the world of Anime and Manga? You can find friends who love it too! One of the newest clubs on campus, Bison Anime and Manga shows that our students can create clubs for any interest, cause, or calling they’d like!
Gallaudet is the world’s most prominent center for deaf and visual performing arts. Being in such an artistically rich city like DC, the creative spirit is strong on campus. Whether you major in Theatre Arts, audition for a few shows, or simply enjoy attending plays, you will always be able to find arts and entertainment at Gallaudet or in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
Clean up a local park, help out at a nearby school,raise funds for communities and causes across the globe. Every student group at Gallaudet participates in community service.

Join your fellow students for a variety of Halloween events and competitions, complete with department parties, spooky sweets, and costume contests. You may even spot the occasional trick-or-treater from the Clerc Center.
Engage and connect with fellow alumni, attend our spirit-filled pep rally, browse booths from organizations and businesses from all over the country, catch the battle of the wits at the College Bowl competition, cheer the Bison football team to victory, and much more.
If you’re staying on campus, join the annual ride to Amish farms in Pennsylvania to celebrate the Fall Breakand experience local Amish culture.
In December, visit the Holiday Bazaar, which hosts local Deaf and ASL-friendly vendors, where you can purchase jewelry, clothing, food and other gifts for yourself or loved ones.
On Study Day of each semester, enjoy a breakfast feast at the Student Academic Center. Tutors provided to support students with their needs during the height of Finals season.
