Keeping the Promise: Equitable Outcomes for Students (KTP) is a voluntary participation program that is designed to increase, encourage, support and advance the inclusion and educational success of collegians who are members of groups which are underrepresented in terms of retention and degree conferment. However, participation in these programs is open to all students at Gallaudet University.
KTP participants are engaged in designing personalized career plans, developing academic success skills, increasing their self-knowledge through participation in cultural awareness programs and activities, progressive leadership development training, and advocacy programming. KTP enables Gallaudet's academic community and volunteer life coaches to support these collegians in their pursuit of a degree from Gallaudet University.
