August 22, 2017

Gallaudet University will welcome over 300 new freshmen and transfer students to the 2017 New Student Orientation (NSO). In addition to undergraduate students, the University expects over 200 graduate students for Graduate Student Orientation (GSO).

The NSO committee will host the inspiring Bison Walk from Benson Hall Circle to Elstad Auditorium on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. Pom-poms and other fan gear will be provided to the Gallaudet community to cheer the parade of new students as they walk to a tremendous Buff and Blue welcome.

Following the Bison Walk, a welcome ceremony will be held at Elstad Auditorium at 9 a.m. for new students, parents, and family members. All are invited to attend.

NSO will be held August 23-26. To see this year’s schedule, click here.
