Greenland is a long-time human resources leader. She is vice president of people and services with Georgia United Credit Union in Duluth, Ga. In this role, she is responsible for developing human resources strategies aimed at employee development, talent acquisition and retention, team performance and engagement, and compensation and benefits for the credit union’s 350 employees across 20 office locations.
“Mindi Greenland is an excellent choice for Gallaudet’s Board of Trustees,” said President Roberta J. Cordano. “She brings many important skills to the university. Throughout her career, Greenland has been noted for her success with increasing organizational efficiency and elevating employee engagement and work satisfaction. I look forward to welcoming her back to campus in this new capacity.”
“I am honored to give back to my alma mater by joining Gallaudet’s prestigious Board,” said Greenland. “Gallaudet helped set me on the path to where I am today. In this role, I will be able to help ensure that our beloved university continues its great legacy and that all current and future Gallaudet students have the skills and knowledge they need for a lifetime of success.”
Greenland has been involved in the credit union’s leadership team since 2006 in various roles within its human resources department, including HR manager and HR director. During her tenure, Georgia United was named a top workplace by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for seven consecutive years.
Before joining Georgia United, Greenland worked at Unisia of Georgia Corporation, an automotive manufacturer for Hitachi USA, where she streamlined and centralized HR services as well as implemented new HR technology systems.

Upon graduation, she transitioned to the U.S. Census Bureau as an employee relations specialist where she supported the Atlanta and Chicago regional offices, served as a liaison for the labor union, and managed the D.C. office telework and onsite childcare programs.
Greenland graduated summa cum laude from Gallaudet in 2004 with a degree in Communication Studies. She was a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society and a recipient of the President’s Scholar Award.
