Dr. Thomas Horejes, Associate Provost for Student Success and Academic Quality, and Lorenzo Lewis, ’19, Student Success Coach in the Office of Student Success, presented a concurrent session during the American Association of Colleges and Universities annual meeting, held January 19-22 at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Washington. Their presentation, on January 20, was titled “Anti-Racism Work in Higher Education: From Theory to Praxis through Student Success Coaches.”
AAC&U is “a global membership organization dedicated to advancing the vitality and democratic purposes of undergraduate liberal education.” This year’s annual conference was held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online presentations.
