Gallaudet University is pleased to announce the newly re-designed Summer Sessions for 2021!
Undergraduate summer sessions have been redesigned from two (2) three-week sessions to two (2) five-week sessions. The first session will be online only, and the second session will offer 10 new courses for face-to-face, on-campus learning!
Graduate summer sessions will be offered through various sessions, mostly online.
Summer registration for both undergraduate and graduate classes opens Wednesday, March 24.
Tuition will be reduced for the 2021 summer sessions, please visit the Student Financial Services website for more information. Financial aid may be available as well; information is forthcoming on the Financial Aid MyGU webpage.
Safety protocols will be in place in classrooms and common areas, including physical distancing between seats, required mask usage, daily self-assessment, improved ventilation, increased cleaning schedule, and decreased classroom occupancy.
Students who want to enroll for face-to-face classes may apply for on-campus housing.
We look forward to welcoming our students, faculty, and staff back for Fall 2021! Be on the lookout for a separate communication about Fall 2021 plans.

July 26: JumpStart Programs for new and emerging signers begin
August 16: Orientation begins for new undergraduate students
