The purpose of the fund is to provide financial support for full-time deaf and hard of hearing international students from Africa, preferably of Nigerian descent. If no African student fits the criteria, then the funds will go to deaf and hard of hearing students from any developing country with demonstrated financial need and who are in good academic standing.
